1974 George Gervin RC PSA 8 + (1971 Nolan Ryan PSA 7) or (1974 Nolan Ryan PSA 8 + $100-150 for something else)…
Or
1975 George Brett RC PSA 8
What’s your path? No personal ties as a fan to these players/teams. Like all of them and these cards. Not a “volume” collector but I doubt I’ll ever be in the “investor” class, either.

Also - I don’t have a graded card of any of these 3
George Brett 👍
George Brett
I would take the one that had best eye appeal between the 71 Ryan and the 75 Brett.
Agree.
Either one won’t be wrong. Both solid cards.
Flip a coin. They all would probably make you excited to posses. Personally, I'd probably nail down the Brett RC.
All new slabs, or a mix of old and new?

Depends how the '71 Ryan looks and how much chipping is visible on the black. If that has + eye appeal I would go that route.
Focused on new but open to both
1 less grade and buy them all if it doesnt really matter.
I thought of that when I saw this 7.5 Brett for sale. Nice card. It was sold for $445 on 8/11, I’ve offered $30 above that…no dice. Looking for a flip, I guess.
I always say buy the card not the slab but with the recent grading tightening on vintage I have started to focus on the new slabs.

Search is over…thanks everyone for their input. Best centered one I could find in the grade. New(ish) slab.
Brett all day
You'll never go wrong on the Brett RC. Iconic.
Bum couldn't even hit .300 in the minors.
I am partial to the 1971 Ryan, but nice pickup on the Brett. It looks nicely centered.

Great card - good job Geoff.
