Just filled one more hole in my album ......

As I get older, my goals have changed a bit. I now prefer things I can enjoy on a daily basis, rather than things locked up in a SDB (art, watches, etc.)
One of my final goals was finishing the basic Hawaiian set, and was missing a nice 1883 $1. They don't come around very often and, when they do, the quality is sometimes marginal.
In the last HA ANA sale, there was a nice coin, MS65+ CAC. I liked the coin pictures, but wanted to see the coin in hand.
I got in touch with Boiler78 and we decided to meet in Dallas. It was great to catch up with him and his son, who is now dealing in coins.
It was a long way to go to see 1 coin, but after seeing it, decided it was a good fit for the coins I already have, (10c, 25c, 50c from CRO, 1c from David Hall). Was happy to win the lot for my maximum bid and can't imagine upgrading it ever!
My remaining goals are far more modest, mainly related to PCGS generations, etc. Stay tuned1
