This was in private hands and never graded before... just back from PCGS graded MS64BN and looks even better in hand.

Very nice Fugio WC, just wondering if you got a good deal because it was raw. How did the seller grade it?

    The clashing is cool.
I think that's the first MS64 I've ever seen for the type.

Nice coin...wonder if it is from the Bank of NY hoard to be in such great condition! Thanks for posting, always a pleasure to me to see such an item!

Where are all the people who think all the good stuff has been found and slabbed already?

    You mean like this?

Doesn't need to be found because it was never lost. Just doesn't need to be slabbed to be appreciated by its owner.

@CaptHenway something like that, but that coin is known to the coin collecting community. I'm talking about the unknown rare items that could still be lurking in some unknown collection or on an undiscovered shipwreck etc.

No idea if this is rare, but its the cert number in between those other 2.

That is a very scarce and highly sought after design. Looks to be beautifully toned as well, these can come splotchy or stained.

More will come... at PCGS now. The "I Am Ready" Token is also part of this collection and may be the only silver piece known.

After I looked at it again I wondered if it was silver. These are known in silvered brass and can come with full silvering, but that one looked different. A sensational find in silver!

I said it before, and I'll say it again:
"That was one INCREDIBLE collection you picked up!"
Congrats on the grades. We can't wait to see more of this stuff.

I here CAC is now accepting Fugio Cents... will have to ship this one off. They do no do other Colonials or Civil War tokens,

That is correct, they do not do CWT/tokens/colonials anymore, but I also wondered if they were going to start Fugio coppers again. If they are, a worthy coin to send for sure.
