I have one duplicate left. It is a special coin in terms of quality and provenance.
It was acquired by Floyd Farley from “Schulman” in 1973. It was no doubt kept in an old 2x2 until November of 1989 when Ron Parsley (Al Overton’s son-in-law) acquired it from Farley. Besides me, those are the only two that have owned the coin in 50 years.
It has a lot of nice muted luster and great detail for a 35. It was bought and sold as an XF40 according to the tag. It has a nice band of album toning on the reverse. No distracting marks to speak of. PCGS price guide is $1500. I would sell it here for $1400 to a good home.
I’m not going to take iPhone pics but if you want a video, PM me and I will take one to send.
