Stopped at a local craft brewery tonight to pick up a six pack and I received this series 1934 $5 in change. Oldest currency I've ever received in change. Previous to this was a Series 1950D 10$ that I received in the late 70's when I was in high school.
US Navy CWO3 retired. 12/81-09/04
Looking for PCGS AU58 Washington's, 32-63.

Nice circulation find.
Very cool to receive back in change! It's the Wide variety in what looks like Very Fine condition. Congrats!
You rescued that note from circulation and obscurity, very nice!

nice change find!
Nice find from the wild. Congratulations
We're lucky that some fool didn't retrieve it and write "Counterfeit" across the face.

That one has been in hiding for about three quarters of a century. When were 34Cs delivered?
Yea me to but back in late 90's I got this in change. I Like the five good find and hope more to come.
you found this in the wild/
Looks like a mini gutter fold, right on the corner. Cool find.
Great find fish! And what a find in the wild on that 1934 5 dollar note.
Had to have come from a collection in that shape. A lot of this game is just being in the right place at the right time. Awesome find.
