A note #30 Wade Boggs 15 sent in, 11 9's, no 10's.
Thanks I didnt realize my membership expired about 2 weeks ago. I should have save the Boggs pages to my hard Drive.
Thank god I was able to get the Mike Schmidt 10s!!!
What is the reason they dont? Now I have to re-write my submission form. Or fudge with it some how and add a new card. I dont know if mine is a ten But A solid 9's
My understanding (I was only 8 at the time, so I don't remember formally) is that the cards were only available in uncut sheet form.
Without getting into a huge debate (I DO NOT think any card cut from sheets should normally be able to be graded), I don't personally have a huge problem with these being graded, since it would be assumed that they were professionally cut from sheets -- just as SGC grades Bazooka, Hostess and Post cards cut from their boxes, if that is the only way it can be graded, an educated collector can make their decision based on that.
I was a teenager myself then...young one! Heck I dont remember even seeing the cards and I collected back then. It took 2 years to find a mint copy...now I cant send it in.
