Set Completed: Pre WW2 US Minted Silver Dollars and Crowns

Most know that the US has minted coins for many countries. There is a PCGS registry set to address this however it's thousands of coins and includes moderns, all metals, and is overall too daunting of a task. For my Chopmarked World coins collection I decided to only collect crowns (silver dollar sized coins) and to not collect minors (type coins) and I applied this same thought process to this set. Additionally, I did not want any modern coins or off metal coins so I decided to only target coins minted prior to the US entering WW2 and only in silver. And here we are with a set of every silver dollar or crown minted in the United States prior to 12/7/1941.
Most of the Latin American coins were found without too much difficulty although I had to buy several in European auctions from dubious pictures. The Flowing Hair is the toughest and most expensive of the US circulating issues but is still fairly easily found. The 1925 Guatemala Quetzal is the key to this set with a mintage of 10k and current known population of under 100.

Great set idea and execution, thank you for sharing. The ABC peso is magnificent. What do you grade it? From the small pics it does look to have a good amount of luster.
Awesome set!

Thanks! It's a good looking coin but was wiped at some point. It is graded cleaned...if not I would give it AU53. I bought one more ABC Peso in the same Euro auction and it got bodybagged for PVC despite the acetone bath I gave it. Either way, that one was wiped also.
Well it sure looks sweet when viewed from a distance![;) ;)](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/wink.png)
