I’ve never weigh it, but will pull it out of the vault sometime and give it a go.

My math comes up with 11.554175 pounds troy for the coins and probably another 3/4 pound for the bag and seal. Of course just a guess!

Really interesting item! Good luck with sale (melt is about $1675 for anyone wondering and not wanting to do the math lol).

BU uncirculated from the 1970s. Who knows what interesting varieties you’ll find. It would be fun just to open the bag and see. The bag itself is interesting.

Don’t think there is much in varieties but some bag toning could be interesting.

$1675 Melt is a good price, but I hear the problem is the refiners don't want to bother with 40 % as it's too much trouble to "refine" to pure silver. So, I am told and not my opinion.

    I think it's a cool offering

Never thought about toning - could be some wicked toners. Who knows, bagged for almost 50 years.

Yes, $2375. buy price/Face $500 is what I thought I saw in the OP so, now I read correctly $250 face or $1187.50 buy price.

It's just a cool offering. Best of Luck to the buyer. Thank you

Is that JMB quote for circ or uncirculated?
