1923 S or P?

I didn’t want to expose the actual coin or the seller - but this looks like a P mint to me, no?

I think it is labeled correctly as a 1923-S. I downloaded the image and tweaked the settings a bit and a more clear S appears.

I tried zooming in. It looks like a hit from where I'm sitting. But I am sitting in the dark!! 😂 🤣

    Most definitely an S-mint product.
Not to talk badly about it but that looks like a pretty low-end 64 with a lot of distractions, at least by those pictures. If you are looking for one I'd hold off on it or see if you can get it at a discount. The latter probably wouldn't go over well with the seller though, so easiest to keep looking.
To be more specific and hopefully helpful: the staining on the obverse, the very weak IN GOD, numerous cheek and jaw hits, and what looks like a major hit/scrape in the area above the eagle.
Certain members here would probably insist that coin is AU ;)

It's not AU... but would you pay 64 money for that piece?

I agree it's not AU, that was a reference to a recent peace dollar thread that went a bit off the rails.
I would not want to pay 64 money for that coin. There are almost certainly more attractive MS63's out there.

Thanks for the comments - I could see the chip in the photo but it seemed too low for the mint mark - but looking closer I think you are all correct - it is a 23S.
Some have commented on how much chatter it has for a 64 but what I like is the fact it doesn’t have a lot of sulfur - yellowing which is extremely common for this date.
It’s really hard to find 23p and S that doesn’t have toning or yellowing, and the S mints are notorious for weak strikes …. I don’t think I’ll a buyer but I do like the coin.
