Yes, it's a planchet error and called a lamination. Pretty common on early date wheaties. Fun to have and view but not a real premium for them unless they are a lot worse than yours.![:) :)](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Probably worth $5 to $7 dollars or so would be my wild guess.
