Normal Damage, or Printing Error?

New to this all. What do you think? It’s the head side of a 2014 great smoky mountains coin. Front shows no error

    Welcome to the forum. It looks like the quarter is just stained.

    Welcome to the forum.
    First, coins are not printed, currency is printed, coins are struck or minted.
    The head side is the front, it is known as the Obverse, the back is known as the Reverse.
    Terminology is Important in Numismatics.
    As far as your quarter goes, it is just damage from a stain, worth 25 cents.
