Just Another E-Bay Help I don't need...HELP Please!

Evening,
Wow the E-bay games just never end! I just went to put in an offer on an item and E-Bay said Yes for the Seller (Apparently he set an Auto accept below what I offered). This isn't the issue....E-Bay then Decided for me what method of payment I wished to use, used it and then Congratulated me on doing that!
I have about 6-7 different cards, Paypal and Bank accounts attached to my E-Bay account to pay for Purchases, and a Year ago I said this was going to happen...I decide each time which account the Funds come from!
E-Bay used a CC I had no plan to use without my Specific approval, I was not Given a chance to Change the payment method when this purchase was done, they just decided!! I'm sure I accidentally clicked on something that allows them to do this!
They then sent me a Thank You E-mail for setting up my Permanent payment method, my CC they Decided, which I am 100% against! This has to Stop, I decide where, when, and how I spend my Money...HOW THE HE!! is this LegaL
Any help to UnEnroll from this would be appreciated, I tried, in quick can't find an easy method.

i kind of had a similar issue 'bout a year ago...I wanted to cancel or dismiss one method of payment, and link a different card. I called ebay and explained on what I wanted to do; they told on what steps I had to do, which was fairly easy...although they told me that it would take several business days for my new card to be active...
Everything is OK for me...

As a seller, I see on my end, something like, "If you accept the buyer's offer, payment will immediately be charged," which I assume the system automatically does this.
I accept the offer, then see "Waiting for payment" LOL
I had to wait several hours for the buyer to get around to manually pay, I'm guessing.
Ebay is screwy.
I had the same issue and just defaulted to Paypal being my favored payment and so they always use the right card. I've read that it's a test program for some lucky chosen buyers. Good luck as always waiting for the next improvement!
I'm currently having the same issue, I made an offer that was accepted and I had set up payment via my PayPal credit however it took the payment right out of my checking account.
I've tried several times to fix this and it's been nothing but a problem
My issue has been that I almost always have $$ in my ebay account and I use that for payment for my purchases. Now, I can't make an offer on something without having a default payment set up and using my money in my ebay account is NOT a choice. So, I really shy away from making offers now. I really don't want to juggle accounts and have the wife question everything. Ebay money is ebay money as far as she is concerned, anything else is real money.
It seems to me that, in general, we are getting les and less options/choices on how to spend our money.
Seems to me, we should ALWAYS get to choose how to pay.
I also think we should have to approve any charges to our accounts even if it's set up to automatically come out of our account, or at least a warning before the funds are taken. I signed up for a virus protection service a while back and all of a sudden the price went up and my checking account was being charged with no warning.
This seems to be the "new American way".
I don't like it!

Well after spending 45 minutes trying to find a phone number for E-Bay and on a useless chat with their support which got me nowhere! I decided to just do it myself, we'll see if this works long term? I went into my account and Deleted the CC that E-Bay used without my permission and then told me it was my new payment method.
There are still 5 other Payment options so I guess I'll have to find something to go put an Offer On!
BTW...I am going about 25% Cards right now and 75% back into Comics.....And let me tell you Blue Chip Vintage Graded Comics are Cheaper than I have ever seen and every day finds new lows! I've given $100 and lesser Offers on $200-$250 items (That aren't Overpriced) and they are getting accepted! Every time one of us Boomer's Bites the dust another Comic Collection or some such comes up for Sale!

So you didn't get the following on the review you offer screen??
I’m not able to send invoices on most purchases. It’s just making the buy pay automatically
Are they international orders.... As you can't if you are using the ebay International shipping program
Probably this screen popped up (It would be the first time), but it didn't register at the time. Used to be the payment options were listed after, when you go to pay!
Anyway, that wasn't my major Concern, it was the followup E-mail telling me they HAD Changed my Payment option to pay for All Auctions & Best Offers to this CC I never authorized!
We'll see the next time I win an Auction or Best Offer if my fix works or will there be other monkey wrenches!

No it’s not International orders
I got that and changed it to PayPal credit and thought I was all set
Nope PayPal charged my debit card, I'm pissed.
I am going to get a new debit card and CC without updating my PayPal and make my credit the only option that will work
This is an absolute pain in the rear end
Still can't pay with the money that I have in my ebay account. It's not an option anywhere when making an offer. Also, you can't split payments on BIN's or auctions. If I buy a $200 card I should have the option of spending my ebay money, and then covering the balance left with another payment method.
I thought Neil quit eBay in 2001.

I remember setting my preference for payments via best offer and buy it now. I dont even use Paypal anymore, just my CC for ebay purchases.
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
I got this screen recently, I had to set up an automatic payment before I could submit my offer.
I only have a PayPal account linked to Ebay.
ps The offer was accepted.
