Welcome! That is a beautiful major struck thur in my opinion. Don't know what it is. Looks like part of a feeder finger device.
Standby. Let's get some other opinions.

What a great looking mess!
Did you buy it? Find it in circulation?
Found it.
So it's a 40% silver coin. That brown area actually looks like something embedded into the coin.

Welcome. I'm no error expert but it appears ANACS isn't quite sure what it is either.
Per The American Heritage dictionary:
debris
də-brē′, dā-, dā′brē″
noun
The scattered remains of something broken or destroyed; rubble or wreckage.
Carelessly discarded refuse; litter.
An accumulation of relatively large rock fragments.
Kind of cool just the same...

Nice coin, congrats.
Wow! That's really cool. What do you believe the strikethrough is from? I can't tell from the image.

Was off for a long weekend that day.
Have no idea what did this. A feed finger is possible, but I would expect such an indent to be from either 6 o'clock or 12 o'clock. Could be a snapped off feed finger bouncing around in the coining chamber, but then how did this planchet get seated properly? Under the circumstances I think that the description is reasonable.
Have you tried placing a powerful magnet over the inclusion to see if it is magnetic?
Not a finger finger struck through, imo
Feeder finger tips in that era were wider.
Interesting struck through shape and depth,
and it would be interesting to know what that retained residue is
Nice find. That is an awesome looking piece.
