Do these slabs look like they have been tampered with?

The pictures are of two separate ICG slabs labeled as MS67 Jefferson nickels. The coins are no where near MS67 grade.
The slabs themselves make me very suspicious the actual coins were replaced with lower grade coins.
Both slabs have damaged edges on the bottom and one side and what appears to be super glue residue. Both slabs
have significant internal hazing as well.
I submitted an inquiry to ICG as well.
Your input is welcome.

Doubt it, there’s not enough much financial motivation for someone to do something nefarious with an icg 67 2005 nickel. It’s just a cheap icg slab with poor build quality. As to the coins being over-graded, well, as I said it’s an icg slab.

LOL what would be the benefit to doing something like that?
Profit?
Really isn't any. It's a cheap coin. You can probably buy one for $10 to $15 tops. So then you break it open, replace the nickel and then how do you sell the raw 67 for anything more than a buck or two? Slab it again? Where's the profit?

to me they look warped by the sun. somehow. they are icg slabs so i assume they are worthless and accepted by no one
That's not really a fair assumption. Modern ICG is pretty accurate.
