Strike designations in the era of AI grading
Prediction: When computers are grading our coins, the overall strike of a coin will be measured precisely on a 100 point scale, and designations like FH and FB will become things of the past.

I fully agree.
Except on the full torch, full bell lines, five or six steps etc, everything still stays
Also I know for a fact we will always have the last say, wrong or right for it needs to be a community thing.
Interesting thought. IMO there’s too much money in it for market participants (TPGs, auction houses, dealers, collectors) for those designations to disappear entirely.
Algorithmic criteria could be set with thresholds for those designations that operate independently of the overall coin’s strike.
Nothing is as expensive as free money.
Just for giggles, let's say my coin did happen and that on presentation day and the room was full of distinguished people, would their be a man worthy of giving a coin to on that day?
If so then the engraver would have to be precise on the notes and then make sure they got out there, I mean that's what I'd be thinking.
Then you have Walter breen's clearly writing what I consider inside information in the beginning of creating the SP coins.
I mean it reads as if the person was there.
When I went shopping I said wouldn't it be cool to have something George had.![:) :)](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
George Washington was the man in my opinion.
Maybe I told everyone that but maybe I didn't, now you know![;) ;)](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/wink.png)
I think that member pocketchange makes a good point, it would require a significant change in what the market expects to do away with strike designations. Perhaps if a 100 point scale is utilized then at some point threshold (say 81 pts) a coin is deemed to be FH. Sounds about as arbitrary as it is today.![;) ;)](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/wink.png)
