Is this a close AM on a 1992 Lincoln?

I've asked about this before, but the book I have doesn't show me the FG.

How does it get any closer than that?

Matt, look at the photos on Variety Vista. Your coins must match EXACTLY.

I find these treasure hunts to be confusing. Coin roll hunting plays less than minimum wage. The experienced people that do it tend to have a passion for the errors and varieties. Yet we get dozens of threads started every year by people who barely know anything about errors or varieties. Are they just fueled by the mistaken belief that there's good in them thar rolls or are they just newbies with a passion that needs education?

    The first one.

That's me, passion that needs education. Probably doesn't help that I've found 4 different W quarters, all different. 3 2020's and 1 2019.

W quarters are an easy spot. They have a W on them.

Finding varieties requires work... and study. And, respectfully, if you have the passion you should be reading the books and studying the websites far more than looking at coins.

If the FG is close to the Lincoln Memorial (as it is on your coin), you don’t have a Close AM example.

See link below and the left side of the first set of pictures.

Rare usually means you ain’t got it.
