Because the value is not loaded in the database.

I had a coin with a known population around 40 but no value. I contacted customer service as to why and they loaded the value within a few days. They didn't explain why it wasn't there in the first place.

When you registered the coin if it didn't have a value you could put a value on it, if that makes you happy until they get around to adding a value

I just added a coin to my Registry set. Like you, no value appeared in the area I expected. I then refreshed the page, and “voila”, there it was, automatically filled in!

CAUTION: If you ever manually plug a value in that spot (as my good friend @alaura22 suggests) which you can do, then the PCGS function of automatic value changes will never work for that coin unless you remove your manual entry, and then refresh the page.

A day without fine wine and working on your coin collection is like a day without sunshine!!!

  • No idea myself I have over 600 PCGS certified coins most are a few years old and to be honest rather common yet they have no value listed in the field think its rather lax and mostly malfeasence on PCGS part to to be more energetic on updating values, at this point i dont even care of they are way out of date
