I recently ran across this coin in a bucket of old coins that belonged to my late uncle. How do you find out which ones are real and what is reproduction?

    Reproduction. Gold doesn't corrode

    There are restrikes made from "white metal" also. Does tin corrode?

    Edit- Either way its a reproduction/copy. I was actually just curious about the composition of "white metal" and I know you're a metallurgy guy.
