Why is the Seller asking so much for this Babe Ruth signed baseball?

    Well to be fair the Pride of the Yankees signed the ball too...and hey June 17th was me and my late wife's anniversary! We got hitched exactly 75 years after this tater was hit!

    Probably has no real interest in selling unless someone comes up with "stupid money". The ball is JSA authenticated but as for the attached letter and provenance... kind of flimsy.

    or a braggart in need of meaningless validation. yeah the letter is probably total fabrication.

    Peckinpaugh was a Hall of Very Gooder who won a championship. Not sure who Walter W Miller is.
