NHL & NFL off-season boredom

What are you guys doing to keep busy? Now as I get older I see why my late grandmother who loved watching sports would say not summer again there is nothing on TV worth watching.

My grandmother was the best always made great food when we watched sports together and she was even more into it than anyone I have ever met. She loved cooking and we all loved her food. Miss those days. She would talk sport inside and out.
If by chance she was tired that day we would order out Chinese or pizza or whatever. Always said buy what you want and take the leftovers home.
She would have her beer and just chill out watching and talking about the game. Always after a hard days work and boy did she work hard.
My grandfather lucked out!!!
I'm enjoying the Summer, the.weather sucks overall but I had a very nice get away to Newport Rhide Island and we just got back from staying in a cabin on a lake several.hours up.North in New Hampshire.
Get to the beach, do outdoors stuff when the weather is good!!
I miss NFL but its nice to get away from the TV and the stresses of betting on it lol
Walk outside every day for minimum 1 hour I guess I should do it twice per day I really enjoy my walks.
I wish I could have 1 day of boredom...
no work - no electronics - no tv - no robo calls - no ebay - no forum - no interruptions - Just 24 hours of nothing..
Staying as cool as possible in the sauna we call Texas. Just got back from our first vacation in 2 years. Lakefront cabin. No Wi-Fi, zero answering the phone for business, no computers. Casino, race track, spa, massage and a lot of doing nothing.
