An interesting pair of off center nickels. Date not visible, but the mint marks are. One “P” and one “D”. Note: The “P” mint nickel has an edge dent opposite the strike. While still being considered as damage by most people, it’s my understanding that the planchet was sitting next to a stationary object when it was struck. Being unable to move during strike, the planchet was pressed against this stationary “wall”. Also see coins below with the same anomaly. $30.00 for the pair.
Two off center 1985-D (partial dates) Nickels struck by the same dies. It’s quite rare to find two off center coins struck by the same dies. In fact, these are the only two I’ve ever seen. You can easily see that they are from the same pair of dies, particularly by the matching die scratches in the date/mint mark area. Both of these coins have the same type “dent” as the one above. Please read the notation on that coin. $50.00 for the pair.
Clad quarter blank planchet. $5.00 each + postage or $15.00 postpaid for all three.
Three BU 1983-P Kennedy Half Dollars. Two of these have very weak designer initials on the reverse. The third one is a normal coin. 1983-P No “FG” Halves are a collectible variety. I’m not sure if the TPG’s would consider these to be the No “FG” variety. Probably not. Priced accordingly. $15 for all three.
