Just a heads up that the Medal Collectors of America is giving away multiple free memberships over on their Facebook page! Having been a member for a while I can tell you that it's a worthwhile organization to be a part of, even if you're just a casual enthusiast. You can learn more here:

Well I tried. Not sure if I did it. Kinda not a Facebook fan. Older I get the more I do stuff and realize I should read more 😂. Thanks for the info.

I don't see you on there yet, but if you click on the link and hit like on the page, the post and leave a comment per the instructions, you should be good to go!

I don't do Facebook. I guess I’m not part of their target audience.
It's too bad they're not more inclusive.
No Facebook here, I just never liked em. I wonder if anyone here is a member or would be?
Just entered the giveaway on FB, thanks KellenCoin!
Hi, JBK, I'm not in the leadership of the MCA, but I do know that if you are interested in membership you are more than welcome to it at https://www.medalcollectors.org/membership/join

$41.50 a year for electronic membership via that link.
It’s up to you, of course! What I can say is that as a longtime member I find the benefits to be worth more than $41.50.

What are the benefits, as someone who is a member? Let's have the insider's perspective.
The news update section of the site has no updates for this year. There do not seem.to be any real resources/articles on the site (unless they are only accessible to members?). And the next scheduled meeting/event is a Zoom call get-together.
I know that there are some serious medal collectors and researchers involved. I'm just trying to understand what the benefits are.
Thx.
