This appears to be a Queen Victoria India Mutiny Medal 1857 -1858.
Should this be sent for authentication and encasement?

    why? Do you need it to be graded for some reason?

    It's quite well-worn and knocked about on the rims. I'm not sure slabbing would add value - assuming all those rim dints don't prevent a straight grade.
