Good afternoon from London,
I recently bought a coin with an overdate. I have long been interested in these but not taken the splash to actually buy and grade. It did OK with PCGS and received an XF45 which I was happy with.
It is an 1847/8 Queen Victoria Half Sovereign.

I will continue to now look for overdates and wondered if anyone else was collecting or had expertise on such things? Seems to me to be an important part of the history of collecting - whether through mistake or necessity at different Mints at different times.
Cheers,
Andrew.
