This is one of the most popular Civil War Tokens, often referred to as the rabbit or bunny token. Charles Haas also known as Carl Haas, ran a coffee house which in those days was more akin to an upscale cafe and meeting place at 493 Vine St in Cincinnati OH.

Per Fuld's reference book, F-165BJ-24a is a rare R9 die pairing with an estimated 2 to 4 known (see p407 of U.S. Civil War Store Cards by George and Melvin Fuld).

This NGC certified example displays some light wear and is an even chocolate brown. Note the dramatic doubling of Carl Haas' name which is found on all Carl Haas tokens struck by the obverse 32705 die.

Offered at $250 with USPS delivery included. 14-day no hassle return privilege.

PPFF / PPGS (+3%) / Zelle / Personal Check accepted. BST and eBay references available on request.

Thank you!
