Got a tracking number on Thursday with no updates at all. Should I be concerned??

My cards finally popped!! However, I received a tracking number this past Thursday and it is still showing up as "Pre Shipment - USPS waiting for the package". Should I be worried?? Is this normal lately for PSA packages not to get a scan at origin?

It’s a long weekend. I wouldn’t get too worked up until next Thursday.

Yeah they probably took Friday, Monday and Wednesday off.

I can assure you as busy as they are, they aren't working 2 days out of 5. They are probably closed Sunday, and they will be taking the 4th off. It wouldn't surprise me that they work Saturday as well.

The USPS is a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week operation, holidays included. Just because your local post office is closed, or there are no pickups or deliveries, does not mean that somebody, somewhere, is not hard at work moving your packages and letters through the mail system. Most of the labor of sorting mail is done in the late evenings and overnight, and Sundays and holidays are actually the busiest days of the week when it comes to processing letter mail, because there has been multiple days worth of mail that has built up that needs to be delivered.

I knew that about the USPS. I think the other guy was referring to PSA.

That notice means the shipping label has been printed but the box hasn't been tendered to USPS yet, or it missed an acceptance or origin scan. If it's the latter, it will update along the way.

I just had a 1-card reholder order ship last week via Fedex. I wasn't aware PSA was using USPS again.

This was a USPS tracking. I think you have to ask for it.

PSA doesnt work Saturday or Sunday, they take every holiday off above and beyond the major 7. Guarantee they are not in Monday.

This isn't true. I've had submissions move and even pop over the weekend. Customer service may not be available over the weekend but they are working.

You have a lot of nerve showing your face around here again. If anyone thinks I'm being too hard on this guy for no reason you might want to check out this thread. Its long, but worth the read.
