Help researching a new coin series to start collecting

    Couple of ideas.

    1. Pick a year, any year. Get some coins that you would find in every-day circulation back then, then put them in something from that era. I've done a 1840's child's keepsake box, and a 1920's woman's purse, It gets you to see things from a different perspective. (They also can be sold on eBay/antique shops like I did)

    2. Seated coins by year. I've seen that even in low grades, they can be very attractive.
