PCGS Forms Expire Tomorrow (6/30). Speculate what changes we might see

Since the PCGS forms expire tomorrow this is an opportunity for our host to change pricing and terms on submissions. So two questions:
1. What changes do you think we'll see?
2. What changes would you like to see? (not that it will make any difference)

What changes we'll see:
1. Because of inflation I would expect to see price increases. Not sure how competitive PCGS wants to stay with CAC so this might keep prices where they are for the most part. I do suspect that PCGS might raise the price of photography $1-3/coin, and may raise their gold shield tier pricing $1-3 as a result.
2. Return shipping fees going up.

What changes I'd like to see:
1. Aside from our dream of lower prices (which won't happen), I'd like to see the tiers change along the lines of CAC. Economy tier raised to $500. Regular tier to $3000 (ideally $4k so that modern proof gold issues can be included). I would even suggest the Express tier be raised to $12 or $15k.
2. Would like to see elimination of GP fee for all services except restoration. Probably not going to happen.

Can’t say I remember pcgs ever doing a mid year price adjustment. Normally the grading companies give advance notice of specific pricing changes, and I haven’t heard anything from pcgs regarding this. My original thought for the June expiration of the submission forms was for them to be able to keep their pricing options open in case of supply disruptions or inflation not cooling down.

I’m thinking they will leave everything as is and reevaluate in January.

My recollection is also the forms having had only year end expiration dates for the past dozen years or so.

FYI @ProofCollection , the “Regular” tier used to be $3,000, but PCGS lowered it to only $2,500 a few years ago. If their profit rationale for making that change remains, then we won’t see that wish come true. I wish the same as you.

We have our answer (I assume), as it does not appear the prices have changed. At least I was unable to detect anything on the website.

I believe many times they’ve announced price increases after the date the forms expired, and gave a bit of a “heads up”.

The key to knowing the answer is to see the newly dated submission forms online, and then seeing if the pricing on those new forms is the same (or not).

I would like to see an option for AU graded coins added.
