I am going to be making the Smoker Medalet/CoinsAreFun token. And need to know how many would be sold
Hello Everyone,
Most here have known I've been working on the Smokers Medalet for several year now.
I don't know what the prices will be as I'm still working on it. But, need and should be reasonable.
The size will be true to the original 28mm in diameter and thickness. It will not have a reeded edge as the real one does.
.
I would like to stay as true to the design as possible but change only the reverse to " CoinsAreFun" and change the date from 1860 to 1960. The crossed pipes and leaf design would remain the same ,And just like the originals they would be semi proof like.
.
I have made some VERY rough markups but the die engraver will give me proofs to look at and I can tell you this much....
.... It's not by Daniel but the engraver is an older well suited excellent quality person.
.
I'm also not asking for a guaranty promise that you would buy one or two. Rather just get an idea as to 20 from each metal would be enough and if there is more it may need to be ordered and a short waiting period would have to happen.
.
I'm taking on all the costs so It would be very helpful to know how may would be interested.
Below are the rough markups. And so far it will be available in copper and brass. Silver would be a Half ounce.
Please respond on this page if you plan to buy one or two.
If it not allowed to respond more than once a day you can pm me
Thanks, Stefanie

Is there a price?
If reasonable then I'd be in for one or two in order to support the cause.
.
We are working on it now but it will be reasonable , otherwise its not worth doing.
I hope to have some rough prices very soon.

I’d probably buy one for 💩’s and giggles
I’m in on at least one in silver and maybe one of each depending on final details/pricing.
I am interested in all 3 flavors. Where shall the engraver be placing his mark? Peace Roy

I would buy all three. Maybe two of each.
My Ebay Store
all 3 would be had by me
I would like to buy all 3 as well.
I would support the effort with a three piece set - one brass one copper and one silver.
Have any plans to reach out to capital holders to get a special holder done for a three piece set? That would be icing...
It's all about what the people want...
I would definitely want one in silver and maybe one in copper

These are interesting. Will consider and wait on the pricing. Just a thought. It may be to your advantage to try to market these in cannabis/head shops establishments. The figure depicted on the obverse may appeal to their customer base. Good luck moving forward in your endeavor.
Save me a silver and a brass, Steph.

I will want at least a brass one.

WANTING
I’ll take a silver…
I'd likely want one of each.
Very cool - 1 of each!
Likey. 1 of each for me as well.
I would want all 3 maybe a couple of each if the price is good.

I'd be interested in a 3 coin set! Depending on price.
These would be really cool with a pot leaf on the reverse. Is it too late?

Hell Yea, I would be interested in a brass version if price is right. I am curious about the origin of this token /medal
Probably 2 of each depending on price.
I own probably the finest silver token of Levick. I also own a brass and copper.
Levick was very involved with numismatics and you can do a search in this forum and find out all about him.
.
He is also voted into this book

Take care of yourself, coins are not important.
Yup, you can't think straight if you're under the weather. Peace Roy
