counterstamped Wildman

I bought this as a test bid in an auction recently and surprising won it. It's a 1722 6 mariengroshen from Braunschweig - Wolfenbüttel with AD GM 1759 stamped on it. Any ideas about the significance of the stamps?

No idea on the counter stamp but that's a cool piece- I can't recall ever seeing a counterstamped piece Brunswick-Wolfenbuttel
