Unsearched penny rolls from the early 1980's

Is there a premium on unsearched bank rolls from the early to mid 1980's?
My brother and I were tellers back then and he would once in a while buy a few rolls of pennies and stick them away. These are bank rolled not customer rolled. He found about 10 to 20 rolls when he moved next door to me that I would think are no later than about 1985.
So, would there be a premium on these and if so how much? Or is it not worthwhile and just cash in to the bank?
Thanks,
Bob

There are some DDs in the 10 or 15 years prior, so sure, go ahead and search them. But I am not sure there is much premium if you went to sell them, unless you hype them.

Nope that's not me.......to hype them to make sales. Maybe I will talk him into letting me search them.
    Thanks,
