Anyone ever make an offer after a Legend auction for unsold lots?

Just wondering if anyone has ever made an offer on Legend for an unsold item after an auction.
If so, what were the results?

I sent an email offer after the conclusion of an auction (after seeing the notice below). However, I never received a reply (over 3 weeks have passed now). I figured they would reply but is there only a reply if they accept your offer?

I'd email Jessica and ask the question.

(Edit to add). If no response after fist day, I'd call them and ask the question. Or just call and forget emailing.
