Trading silver for copper

During 2022 I had an eBay store selling much of the silver (plus some gold and platinum) have been stacking for years.

I used the proceeds plus my 2016 Lexus to buy a new Lexus model (500h) with a color new for this year, Copper Crest - the color of a new penny.

I took this picture of the new car Friday at Red Rock Canyon, near Las Vegas.

Well, that's a sure depreciating asset but I bet it's a lot of fun to drive. Nothing like new wheels! That a pretty color!

For me, if I need new wheels, I like to buy them 2-3 years old with low mileage. That way, I avoid the initial big depreciation hit.
