    1806 C-1; deceptive counterfeits do exist but your posted example isn't one of them. Looks OK from your images.

    Looks normal to me, but I didn't want to say so until Jack spoke up. Now he has and I can agree. Read Jack's articles regarding counterfeits. A great one on this very date Half Cent. Quite a few telltale signs that are basically unknown until his articles. Perhaps Jack will remind everyone with a link to his articles that he has previously noted. The counterfeiters are basically nailing the normal attributes but are leaving their own marks.
