I have always loved NR. The dude could pitch and was probably one of the most charismatic guys to ever play. I just wish I'd started buying his cards about 10 years before I really seriously started my Ryan PC.

hey swish54,

Thanks! I bought it after watching the documentary Facing Nolan and sent it right off to get signed through his foundation!
Recently picked up this beauty in furtherance of my quest to compile a high end '74 OPC HOFer (plus Rose + Munson) subset. Prior to finding it, all I could find were PSA 6, 8OC, and 9OC. I'm a sucker for OPC rough cuts and this one is a prime example!

That is a stunner!!! That might be the best 74 OPC Ryan in existence.

Fun fact: The opposing pitcher, Luis Tiant pitched 14.1 innings in that game, giving up the winning run in the bottom of the 15th.

It was self- submitted before the half grade became a thing. I avoid '62, '63 and '71 for subbing as I pretty much got 6's.
Here are a couple of my favorites
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
Here is my contribution.

Thanks for the compliment! There's one PSA 9; I'd love to see what it looks like. The t/b centering may be a tad better than mine but you never know.
