There is no such cent as a 1912 3 over 2.
What you have is damage. You can see where it starts at the rim and goes inwards.

  • Okay thank you.. yes it is a damage coin. I also found a 1960 with a blank reverse what you think about this one?

You should really start a new thread for each coin.
It causes confusion with more than one coin on the same post.

To answer your question, PMD, the reverse has been ground off.
You cannot have a coin with the rim on only one side.

  • Got it.. Thanks again..

Maybe you have a 1913 D 3/2 Lincoln cent? (not a known variety)
    No, it's just damaged/cut-up.

Collector of what ever looks good to me today.

Overdates occur when the die from a past year is reused by cutting a new digit over the old digit from the earlier year without completely removing the old digit. So, a 1913 punched over a 1912 is much more likely than the other way around.

Collector and dealer in obsolete currency. Always buying all obsolete bank notes and scrip.
  • Thank you..
