Okay, technically just a holder, but still...
A few years back I joked around I wanted my Ministry of Finance holdered/NGC graded coin put in an oversized slab. It has an NGC stickered grade on it (and IIRC PCGS has sticker graded some too, but I may be mis-remembering). The label had gotten a little roughed up so I (jokingly) wanted it slabbed for protection. The overall size of the MoF holders is smaller than some graded medals.
NGC declined.
Here are some old photos of it and you can see the size in relation to a regular NGC slab. And the label.
But lookie what I just found!

So the real question is...can I get PCGS to slab an NGC stickered MoF coin???

And at what point do you go for the WINGS bean?

PCGS declined to slab a rectangular medal I sent them. They should start slabbing other rectangular things using this insert.

If there is a market for it why not. No better than anything else I guess that some people want. Some people are into weird things such is life. I would not use this service but I imagine some will. If I had a 250 000$+ coin maybe I would but that will never happen in my life. I am small time my coins are not worth the trouble or the cost to have this done.

The Trifecta! Now you made me want to do it...for the photo op if nothing else. Is WINGS still in business though?
ETA as for the market @PillarDollarCollector PCGS slabs are getting more and more popular in Japan, but the MoF holders have their own value. I guess this is why these were done. Even so, I almost rolled over in shock when I saw them.
Now what I’d like to see is a Slab slabbing the Slabber who Slabbed the slab. Now that would be something - oversized no doubt.
But seriously - pretty neat.
I've been eagerly waiting for this moment for 30 years, now we need to slab that second slab
Just to make this more hilarious, I did some digging to refresh my memory. PCGS didn't do the sticker like NGC, but they would offer a photo certificate to accompany the MoF slab. So someone decided this was an improvement.
Looks great
