Has Red Sox manager Cora finally grown a set of gonads?

And will it be enough to spark his team ?
He benched Vertago Thursday for not running out a play.
He needs to kick a lot more ass in the coming weeks or his will be gone shortly.
The pitching staff sucks and the players are making way too many errors.
It is getting hard for me to even watch their games and have started reading my collection of Stuart Woods books over again during a game.

    I saw the video real quick, maybe I'm wrong or didn't see enough of it but other than him not sliding was it really that much of a lack of hustle?

    I am all for coaches/managers expecting hustle from players

    George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

    Me too. I've heard every excuse in the book for why players don't hustle in every play. And every excuse for why coaches/managers don't punish the players or enforce mandatory hustling.
