I plan on bringing this 1970 Kennedy half dollar with me to the Long Beach expo on the 21st to have some experts check it out

    How did this end? 1965-1970 Kennedy half dollars are sandwich coins unlike 1964s.

    Looks normal. You should be able to see a sandwiched layer of slightly coppery color on a BU half dollar from 65-70. The inner layer is only 20% silver.
