Anyone use the new Click-N-Ship Enhanced Shipping with USPS for your coins? My first attempt failed.

GoldbullyGoldbully Posts: 17,325 ✭✭✭✭✭

I went through all of the steps until the end.....my shipping label order wouldn't go into the Cart.

It just got stuck on the one screen before the actual payment is chosen.

The rate for a medium box with standard service is $17.10.

The rate for a medium box with Enhanced service is $14.75.

That's a nice savings, but I had to use the regular service to get my label created.

Anyone else having problems. Am I doing something wrong?

I started with the new option today but couldn’t get to the last stage either. Back to the original format I went.

This may be a silly question, but it is the obvious one, do you have an enhanced account?

I saw the screen with the two choice, regular and commercial. I tried the regular and it failed...Got stuck and would never allow me to print.

No. I rarely use click and ship. I either use ebay labels or one of the shipping programs. But when I read the USPS site, it says that enhanced accounts in the loyalty program get converted to commercial rates. It doesn't say, one way or the other, that everyone gets commercial rates.

I think that "enhanced" refers to the application (i.e., CNSv2).

    Link

    Edited to add:
FWIW, there appears to be different 'sign in' page for the 'enhanced/V2' application: https://cnsb.usps.com

Thanks for the link. I’ll be sticking with the original app.

Switched account to enhanced and did a label for a First Class Package. Everything worked fine. I like it cause in the past you could not generate labels for First Class Package, now I have that option. Ebay prices are still lower for the same shipping weight.

    Enhanced Click-N-Ship finally worked.

Shipped Priority USPS medium box to our hosts from the east coast.

Shipped Tuesday, is in Santa Ana, CA. currently.....should be in Newport Beach PO shortly.

    Saved me ~9%

We use the original Click-N-Ship and don't plan to change anytime soon until the glitches are fixed. I like saving money as much as anyone, but we need the platform to be stable first.

Check out the new tracking number for my shipment.

Here's one of mine from a couple months ago.....standard USPS
    9410803699300158159xxx

Here's the tracking number from the enhanced USPS click-n-ship I just sent.
    4209265894589407830109355000293xxx

    That's a lot of numerals.

I’m pretty sure on that longer number you can use the numbers starting with 9458 for tracking. The tracking numbers given to you with the receipt from the Post Office also have those additional 12 numbers at the beginning. Those aren’t needed for tracking. I’m sure these new numbers from the enhanced version are the same way.

    You are correct, Sir.

Actually, looking at my receipt it shows the tracking number 9407-8301-0935-5000-293x-xx

I was almost right. I said 9458, but it should have been 9407. I miscounted.

Is the Enhanced Click and Ship any cheaper than shipping with PayPal?

Never used PayPal for shipping, I paid about 9% less than normal USPS Priority rates with Enhanced.

I just went to PayPal shipping and got the rate to send a Medium Flat Rate Box to PCGS it was, $14.00. It looks like PayPal is a bit cheaper.

one can also buy and print USPS labels from their paypal account using this link.

Today I shipped two packages to the west coast using USPS Enhanced-Click-N-Ship.

I breezed through the entries with no glitches.

Give it a try, you'll save money if you are a regular USPS shipper.

I use Paypal, which has a shipping tab. You just have to set the service; and you get the discount.
