1986 Topps factory sealed Christmas set ?

Is the prime difference in the 1986 set the fact that one is wrapped in brown paper, the other in a very colorful box and was only offered at Christmas? Can't seem to find a definition and am planning to sell my sealed sets, just want to be careful when I describe the sets.

Yes, the Christmas set is the colorful yellow one.
