EBAY RETURN, SHOULD I PURCHASE MY OWN INSURANCE

I recently bought a coin on eBay for $350. I am returning it and there is no option to add insurance when I printed their label. Should I do my own label and insure it myself at the post office. I am wondering if the odds of losing the package is so small compared to the value of the package if I should skip and just do it through EBay prepaid. Please advise what to do. Thanks

If you make sure to have a postal employee scan it in when you drop it off you should be okay.
Don't just drop it in the box or slot and wait for it to be scanned into the USPS system.
Once scanned into the USPS system ebay should take care of you and the seller if something happens.
For my own piece of mind on a purchase in that dollar range I would probably insure it but I do stupid stuff because I worry too much.
