Can Kluber be next on the chopping block or does he survive till the trading deadline ?

Bobby Dalbec is also being shopped. Now in limbo in Worcester, his time with the Red Sox is on an inevitable ticker.

The bullpen seems to be a perennial issue with the Red Sox. Why hasn't Bloom focused more on improving pitching?

that is good news. I second Kluber. he has been pretty bad.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

Good luck on getting somebody to take Dalbec who is now blaming the lack of hitting on glasses.
Everybody wants better pitching so who would give up what they have for what we haven't got either?
All the good ones aren't available for what the sox have to offer.
It's such a hard market to penetrate that someone will take a chance on Brasier or even Klubec !

Well, he did go out over the winter and get Rodriguez, Martin, Bleier, and Jansen. Not a ton of positive results, but Martin, at least, has been solid.

Houck should be in the bullpen and not a starter. Every time he goes out there he is hit hard by the 4th inning. He can not make it through the lineup the 2nd time. Right now they have too many starters and not enough good relievers so it is an excellent time to make the move.
