Poll: Has the Iverson thing been overblown??

This latest Iverson episode might have been the most overhyped news story since Geraldo opened Al Capone's vault. Iverson deserves to be punished if found guilty. But, this case is still just a domestic dispute in which nobody got seriously hurt no matter the outcome.

yes i think it has been overblown...

there was no gun, no blood, and the only evidence they really have is from a guy who called 911 10 hours AFTER the incident even occurred... i'm not saying AI isn't in the wrong, because he is, but it's starting to get annoying to talk about...

Whether he did anything wrong or not, I'm glad I got rid of his auto'ed basketball right before this all happened.....

It has definately been overblown. He is not going to be convicted of anything and we know it. Chris.

OJ wasn't convicted and I think it was a bit more obvious that he was guilty and that was for murder. Iverson will get off because millionaires rarely get into trouble.... Some judges can still be bought

way over blown its just cause who he is if this was just a regular man u would only hear it on the local news for a day or two its only cause he's one of the top athletes in todays game

I agree that we hear more about it because he's in the public eye, but we all know how many celeb's get away with things that the "regular man" would not. Trust me, because I see it everyday with my mother being a legal assistant and my father - out - law being a police officer. These people get away with murder
(funny how a phrase like that sometimes has more meaning when you think about OJ -

). I'm not saying that anybody did anything because I wasn't there and I kinda like Iverson... Just sayin' these guys don't get any sympathy from me is all.
