Hey aquired this awhile back and only thing i think i know is its gold,a proof and damaged. Was hoping someone could help enlighten me.

Never seen this before, but where the metal is most disturbed on the rim above "OF" it appears as though it might not be gold colored inside the piece. This may simply be due to lighting, but it might otherwise be due to the item being plated rather than solid gold.

very much if it is gold and is certainly not a proof.
