I can't get this ANACS # 7000094036 below the barcode to verify. And the barcode does not work either. Am I missing something on this type bulk submission? Thanks for any info. Peace Roy

I called ANACS CS, and inquired. They asked for an image of the holder. So, I sent them a link to this thread.

They promised a response within 3 business days. If you do not have an answer via the forum by then, I will post their reply here.

    Thanks for that.

The ANACS database has been built up over time from several different systems, and coins that were certified in some of the bulk systems and other nooks and crannies didn't always have all the "right" fields and so they didn't show up...

Sometimes CS has been able to do lookups in alternate systems.

I've worked with their web guru and database wizard and he's been able to "unlock" vast swaths of the database to function correctly. He's great, but it takes time.

Unfortunately, finding "missing" data is one of the dark arts. Crafting queries that work around data deficiencies, do so accurately and efficiently - well that's up there with the darkest of the dark arts.

It's not my skillset - I once won an award for writing the worst query that actually produced correct results across an entire 8-year-long project. My friend the DBA made me swear to never run it again.

BTW, I'm sure it's legit - I've seen those style of labels many times.

Pleased to hear that ANACS is actively working on this issue. :)

In terms of counterfeits, a "fake" with a verifiable cert number is a problem. However, an authentic item that cannot be verified is also problematic (i.e., a Type II error).

    @Namvet69

Do not see anything about FDI, but the cert number can now be verified via the ANACS website.

@MetroD you're the best! I kinda knew the bulk submission label info was part of the problem. The ASE itself looks good but ya never know. And I learned something. Have a good day.

I am happy that the OP can now verify his coin via cert number. And for that, I am grateful to ANACS CS, and their IT guru.

That said, "he who shall not be named" does not appear to be finished with this issue yet. This is the case as the relevant "swath" that contains this block of coins does not seem to be completely "unblocked".

A quick search revealed the following 2010-W ASE ANACS PR70 FDI cert numbers:
    ~ 7000090611
    ~ 7000094180
    ~ 7000092298
    ~ 7000090892
    ~ 7000095401
    ~ 7000093356
    ~ 7000092155

Admittedly, I am NOT an expert on counterfeits, and cannot authenticate each item above. Notwithstanding, none of these cert numbers are currently verifiable using the ANACS website. Specifically, they all return the following:

Hopefully, everyone that owns one of these authentic coins will be able to verify them in the near future, compliments of Voldemort. :)

I too am grateful to @metro for taking the initiative to send my concerns in the right direction. This solution helps collectors and their brand as well. Peace Roy
