A somewhat silly question about Dansco Albums...
![braddick](https://us.v-cdn.net/6027503/uploads/userpics/SY8TODHEAA9W/nZRBWK9KLPQRH.jpeg)
Why does Dansco offer the Franklin half-dollar album with this cover:
Inside this album:
They also offer this album like this:
Inside this album:
So my question is, why the "1948- " instead of simply "1948- 1963"?
Other albums with a beginning and ending do so; why not the Franklin album?
Also, why/when did they switch album covers?

It's just my opinion, but I think you can't look at things Dansco did in their former incarnation (in California) and ascribe to the present incarnation (in Washington). They have very limited production runs of (still) only a few albums. What they choose to do with Franklin halves in the future is anyone's guess.
Maybe because it was printed before 1964? Not sure about when they switched. Is there any date on the book?
Type collector, mainly into Seated. -formerly Ownerofawheatiehorde. Good BST transactions with: mirabela, OKCC, MICHAELDIXON, Gerard
That might have been a custom order or a precursor to the general half dollar albums with blank pages. I've seen a similar book labeled "Dime, 1916-"

It lists mintages to 1981.
That top one is not a Franklin album
It’s for half dollars from 1948-1981
Thanks, maybe just generic then.

Like others say, it covers more than just the Franklin Halves.
Oh my gosh.
I just now noticed that!
Okay then.
Now I feel as silly as this thread!

Don’t feel silly. I had to look at it a few times before seeing the mention of “Kennedy” on the first album.![:) :)](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
