I have a 1993 Denver Lincoln Cent that has a silver appearance and not the normal copper look. It weighs 2.5 grams and a normal cent has a weight of around 2.48 grams. It is not magnetic. I checked and an unplated planchet is around 2.4 grams. Is it possible that this cent was replated after being minted (PMD)? Any thoughts/opinions might be helpful. Thanks to all in advance.

Looks like it has been replated, a common occurance with no added value.
They used to replate them in high school science class as an experiment.0 -
