1879S Morgan "tRust" question

I like to look up VAMs and I have a friend here on the forum who helps me out a lot so I am not continually posting VAM question.
I discussed this with him and he is knowledgeable. His suggestion was post it to the board.
The r in trust has a very unusual look to it. Is anyone familiar with this?
I'd like to know what it is.
Thank you
