Non sports card submission turn around

I had submitted the monthly special sports vintage (1989 older) - 59 cards and it was received on Feb 23 and is still in grading which is what I expected. But then I submitted the next special TCG & Non-Sports Cards (1980-Present) - 22 cards and was received on April 6 and when I checked yesterday had moved to QA Check 1 already. I was surprised how fast this order has moved.

Why, luck? Or non sports cards
Different lanes (section of graders out of all the graders) move faster than others. Can be to type of sub or size of subs as well in that lane.
This has actually been discussed on another thread. There are clearly significantly more graders of modern cards than vintage, and as such the turnaround times are very different. This does not relate to sports vs. non-sports cards.
